INTERNSHIPS with QUARRY THEATRE

Quarry Theatre interns acquire real-world experience applicable to careers in theatre and related fields. All interns must be over the age of 18 and currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited institution. Internships are available during the summer and interns do receive a stipend.

• Internship opportunities include: stage management, performance, design (costume, scenic and/or lighting) dramaturgy, marketing and publicity, social media, and grant writing, among others. Work hours and assignments are unique to each internship depending on the current needs of the company.

• Interns and their supervisors outline goals for the internship and are assessed midway through and at the end of the internship against those goals. QT provides a supportive environment with the expectation that interns will embrace new challenges. The intern site supervisor will communicate regularly with their school/university’s point of contact regarding the intern’s progress and performance.

• Internships are based in Baltimore, MD and are unpaid. All interns must have transportation. Housing is not provided.
