The rise and fall of oppressive dictatorships have been a theme throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.  These brutal regimes sweep their way into power with a rush of public support only to be toppled later.  Their wake leaves death, disease, violence and trauma. History has proven that there are patterns to dictators—perhaps a playbook or “how to” manual exists.  Quarry Theatre will unpack this playbook in its upcoming production in the fall of 2021.
